She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Shivey and Anna Shivey (Barron); her husband John Jacob Straub; her son John Straub; and her brothers, George Shivey and Robert Shivey.

She is survived by: her children, Ellen Pandolfo (Gary) of Bridgeville, Susan Litzinger (John) of White Oak and David Straub (Mary Anne) of Washington, PA; her grandchildren, Kristin Donnelly (Tim) of West Mifflin and Kylie Walker (Jon) of North Huntingdon; her great grandchildren, Troy, Teague, Timothy, Benjamin and Jacob; her niece Jennifer Marsh (Jeff); and her nephews, Jeffrey Shivey (Jodie), Madison, Avery, Aidan and Caleb.
