He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Biega and Helen Biega Evanovich (Swiencki); and his nephew Ron Biega. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Margaret Biega (Herbert); his siblings, Dorothy Henderson (Rich) of Port Vue and Frank Biega (Pat) of Chandler, AZ; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Gary Herbert (Karen) of North Huntingdon and Patricia Moore (John) of Hopewell; and his siblings' children, Jennifer Herbert (Bill Price), Frank Herbert, Kaye Marie Henderson, Ken Henderson (late Debbie), Kevin Henderson (Cheryl), Kert Henderson (Joan) and Holly Biega Sherman (late Joseph). He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boston United Methodist Church (6103 Smithfield St, Boston, PA 15135).
