It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vervaine E. Mains of White Oak, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles J. Blamick and Hilda Blamick (Johnson); her husband Walter G. Mains, Jr.; her daughter Saundra R. Grimsley; and her siblings, Charles Blamick (Gertrude), Jeanette Jenney (Steve), Robert Blamick (Lois), Joseph Blamick, Wesley Blamick (Carol) and Elveria Johnson (Donald).
She is survived by: her children, Daryl G. Mains (Cindy) of Greensburg and Cathy L. Jaskolski (Ronald) of Scottboro, AL; her sister Kathryn Seitz (late Carl) of Brookfield, OH; her son-in-law Charles Grimsley of Daytona Beach, FL; her sisters-in-law, Arlene Blamick and Carolyn Blamick; her grandchildren, Christina Jaskolski Geiger, Brian Grimsley, Mark Grimsley (Meghan), Elizabeth Rigby (Jason), Lindsay Kreutzer (Radie) and Daryl Mains, Jr. (Melanie); her great grandchildren, Kylee Geiger, Jackson Gavin, Emma Rigby, Tanith, Grant and Paige Kreutzer; her grandchild Alessia Brambilla; and her friend Barbara Jo Cush.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131).
