We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2023, at the age of 94, Genevieve Bryan of White, Pennsylvania, born in Charles Town, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John S. Alfriend and Fanny Eliza Harrison; her husband Jim; her son Thomas; and her siblings, John D. Alfriend and Gertrude "Lyn" Kimbrough.

She is survived by : her children, Jim Bryan Jr. of Tucson, Anne Westrick (John) of Mechanicsville, Betsy Thurston (Sam) of Marietta and Mary Banchero (Jeff) of San Mateo, California; her grandchildren, Linda, Jane, Ted, Sam, Blair, Ben, Luke, Anna, Michael, Lena and Amy; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Ellie and Devan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Swarthmore Presbyterian Church are welcome.
