She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Hood; her parents, Lewis Bachert and Anna Bachert (Koenig); and her siblings, Norman Bachert and Vivian Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Hood (Lisa Lapos-Hood) of Summit Hill, Pauline Hawk (Mark) of Summit Hill and Karen Otto of Lehighton; her grandchildren, Michael Hood, Sarah Hood, Taylor Haldeman, Nicole Hawk Wolford, Stephanie Hawk Anderson and Tiffany Hawk Fischer; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin, William, Magnus, Anja, Eli and Liam. She is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
