He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Mains and Patricia Mains (Zuzo); his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Mains (Boot); his children, Patrick M. Mains Jr., Anthony J. Mains, Morgan Martin (Alexander) of Clover and Jackson Mains of Elizabeth; and his siblings, Judy Black (Daryl) of White Oak, Terry Mains Minnick Ball of New Florence, Robert "Fudd" Mains (Sharon) of McKeesport, James Mains of McKeesport, David Mains of McKeesport and Michael Horchata of Rural Valley.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will be limited to 25 people in the funeral home at one time and masks must be worn.
