With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Quinn Sr. of White, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lawrence and Cynthia Bender Quinn; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Merelli Quinn; his son Paul Quinn; his son-in-law James Vodila; and his sister Ruth Leaptrot.

He is survived by : his children, Robert Quinn, Jr. (Marj) of Erie, PA, Judy Steudler (Fred) of Liberty Borough, Janet Vodila, Donna Wise (Tom) of Austin, TX and Dominic Merelli of Florida; and his sister June Filson of North Huntingdon. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; also by nieces and nephews.

The family suggests contributions to the Mission Fund of McKeesport Presbyterian Church, 1510 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132.

“I am so saddened and sorry to learn of Bob's passing. A wonderful neighbor, friend, and man, he brought joy and smiles to all he interacted with. Living most of my adult life out of state, I saw him less often than I once did. On trips and visits back to the hometown, I'd typically stop by to visit with and spend time with him. He was a fantastic source of news and updates of people and events. He will be greatly missed. Sympathy and condolences to his family at this difficult time.”
