He was predeceased by: his brothers, Richard Talarek and Ted Talarek. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Talarek (Lacey); his children, Jill Dowker, Ted Talarek and Clay Talarek; his grandchildren, Luke Dowker, Justin Talarek, Emma Dowker and Megan Talarek; and his sister Regina Blickhahn.
In keeping with his generous spirit and commitment to helping others, he chose to donate his body to medical research at the University of Pittsburgh through the Humanity Gifts Registry.
