He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kisthardt and Elizabeth Kisthardt (Martin); and his brothers, Dale and Vance Kisthardt. He is survived by: his wife Ruth C. Kisthardt (Nemeth); and his children, David of Hershey, Adam of Daytona Beach, FL and Carol of Jacksonville, FL.
