He was predeceased by: his wife Frances A. Ryan (Donatelli); and his siblings, Daniel Ryan, Charles Ryan and Dolores "Dolly" McClain. He is survived by: his children, Paul Ryan (Tricia), Denise Raidna (Tom) and Darlene Callan (Scott); and his stepchildren, Heather Simpson (Jeremy) and Christopher Mavrodis (Amy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (225 37th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201).
