He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shortell and Lillian Shortell (Stanborough). He is survived by: his wife Susan J. Shortell (Wiltraut); his children, Douglas K. Shortell (Lori), Jeffrey S. Shortell (Lynny West) of Bethlehem, David J. Shortell (Jennifer) of Northampton, Jennifer L. Reed (Dion) and Anthony J. Sarko (Sherry); and his brothers, Rev. Bruce Shortell (Caroline) of Atlanta, GA and Robert Shortell of Kansas City, MO.. He is also survived by Grandchildren:12; Great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. (274 N Krocks Rd, Allentown, PA 18106). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
