She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos T. Espin; her parents, Alfonso Bohorquez and Mercedes Bohorquez (Jara); her siblings, Zoila, Carlota, Alfonso and Martin; and her granddaughter Irene L. Cruz.
She is survived by: her children, Mercedes Montes (Omar), Carmen Cruz (Jorge), Maria Bowen (Carlos), Angela Escoto (Marvin) and Carlos E. Espin (Martha); her grandchildren, Angie, Jessica, Charlie, Edward, Jay, Melissa, Paul, Daniel and Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Christian, Wolfgang, Dramir, Roman and Jacob; and her brother Carlos A. Bohorquez.
Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to church in loving memory of Maria.
