He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Acevedo and Matilde Nuñez. He is survived by: his wife Lucia Acevedo; his children, Margarita, Otoniel, Maritza, Johanna, Roxanna, Angel, Yessenia, Lucy, Maximo Jr., Matilde and Max Acevedo; and his siblings, Maria and Jose Acevedo. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
