He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Schoemaker and Verna Schoemaker (Miller); his son Robert M.; and his siblings, Roger, Richard, Donald and Irene Holtzhafer.
He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Schoemaker (Mehalick); his sons, David M. (Lucy) of LaCenter, WA and Mark M. (Michele) of New Tripoli; his grandchildren, Sarah, Erika, Matthew and Luke; and his great grandchildren, Aurorua, Lyra, Gabriella and Savannah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (1046 W Cedar St, Allentown, PA 18102). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
