With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josiah A. Murray of Williams Township, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josiah A. Murray to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Murray and Olive Murray (Wolbach); his wife Barbara Anne Murray (Reinheimer); his daughter-in-law Tammy A. Murray; and his siblings, John, Eldon, Walter, Douglas Murray, Grace Gutzweiler, Ruth Wagner, Leah Mercier and Olive Kutz.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Murray of Williams Township, Pamela Strawn (Michael) of Williams Township and William Murray (Lynne) of Williams Township; his brother Dale Murray (Sharon) of Williams Township; his grandchildren, Scott Gordon, Amanda Whitehead (Joshua), William Murray, Jr. (Victoria), Melissa Thatcher (Kurt), Jessica Kann (Kyle), Kyle Strawn (Alexis) and Kayla Marhefka (Eric); and his great grandchildren, Adelynn, Nikolai, Luke, Nash, Gavin, Bennett and William "Tripp". He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John's Church (2720 Morgan Hill Rd, Williams Township, PA 18042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
