As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Evelyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conda Casteel and Estella "Stella" Casteel (Wilson); her husband Ernie; and her daughter-in-law Diana Hetrick. She is survived by: her children, Ernest C. "Bud" of Williamsburg, Barry L. (Karen) of Hollidaysburg, Brian E. (Debbie) of Gettysburg, Bradley A. (Sue) of Williamsburg and Lisa A. Meadows (Brad) of Hollidaysburg. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren (529 W 3rd St, Williamsburg, PA 16693). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
