The memory of Daniel Edwards Battles of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2026 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Marie Hack Battles and Edward Daniel Battles; his former wife Renate Arnim Waller; and his children, Deborah Elizabeth Riordan (Brian), Bruce William (Jean) and Scott Michael (Brew).

He is survived by: his wife Linda Babineau; his children, Edward Daniel (Elizabeth) of Williamsport, Lisa Waller Gage (Gary) and Christian Waller (Theresa) of Merrimack; and his sisters, Jean Marie Cassani (Anthony) and Katherine Battles Kohl (Allan). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
