Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Don Getgen (Williamsport, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 70, on October 29, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack E. Getgen and Eleanor L. Getgen (Porter); his siblings, Vickie Y. Getgen and Brett; and his sister-in-law Rose Getgen.
He is survived by: his children, Jocelyn E. Getgen Kestenbaum (Scott) of Chappaqua, NY, Erin R. Sauers (Andrew) of Williamsport, Joseph L. Getgen (Anuhea) of Hawaii and Douglas A. Getgen of Williamsport; his siblings, James B. Getgen (Susan), Bart L. Getgen (Beth), John E. Getgen (Rhonda), Bonita J. Charron and Susan R. Rey (Jon); and his grandchildren, Nolan, Avery Sauers, Iyla, Sela Kestenbaum, Kaiakea and Koa'e Getgen.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, Inc. (1914 Memorial Ave, Williamsport, PA 17701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
