He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Jack" Jenkins, Sr. and Pearl Jenkins (Wright); his son Mark Diemer; his brother Robert Wright; Joseph Harris.

He is survived by: his children, David Strothers of Williamsport, Karen Jenkins of Arizona, Edward Diemer of Williamsport, Tracy Jenkins of Philadelphia and Nicole Bassett of Williamsport; and his grandchildren, David Strothers Jr., Alyssa Strothers, Sanyay Johnson-Dunn, Teddy Diemer, Jr., David Rogers, Shelby Rogers, Eddie Nietz, Elizabeth Schneider, Erika Diemer, Skyler Andrews, Marcus Valenz, Tara Jenkins, Taylor Jenkins, Kasha Bassett, Kaylissa Kriner and Jowell Quartman. He is also survived by siblings, his grand and great grandchildren.
