He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wascher and Marion Wascher (Byers); and his grandson Ryan Jasper. He is survived by: his wife Esther I. Wascher (Seiler); his pet Oscar; his children, Darrin Wascher, D. C. (Dina) of Linden and Debi Hillebrand (Greg) of Whitehall, Michigan; and his granddaughters, Ashley Newton, Lyndsay Huerbin (Shawn) and Allix Hillebrand.

Memorial contributions may be made in Fred's name to Lycoming County SPCA.
