He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd W. Gardner and Theresa L. Gardner (Hively); his stepfather Chuck Gardner; and his sister Jean Arlene Brownley. He is survived by: his wife Jane R. Myers; his children, Steven L. Gardner (Jackie) of Fla, Joshua A. Gardner (Tracie) and Kimberly S. Swank (Randy) of Lairdsville; and his siblings, Harold P. Gardner (Sylvia) of Va and Mary Ann Douglas of Philadelphia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
