He was predeceased by: his wife Christie L. Hilner (Carl); his parents, Joseph W. Hilner and Frieda E. Hilner (Michael); and his brother Eldon M. Hilner. He is survived by: his children, Heather M. Hilner of Williamsport, Kelly A. Hilner of Williamsport and Kurt R. Hilner (Elaine) of Williamsport; his grandchildren, Shelby Morales (Fernando), Riley, Emma, Audrey Hilner and Greyson Hilner-Turner; his great grandchildren, Averie and Kyler Morales; his sister Cheryl H. LaClair (John) of Virginia; and his brother-in-law Douglas Carl of Virginia.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sanders Mortuary (821 Diamond St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Twin Hills Memorial Park (3332 Lycoming Mall Dr, Montoursville, PA 17756). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ivan's name to Vietnam Veterans of America, 8719 Colesville Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
