James R. Stanley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Stanley of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in Vintage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Stanley (Gee); and his parents, P. Fredrick Stanley and Helen Groff Stanley. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Prentiss (Richard) of Williamsport and Alicia Rissel (Richard) of Thorndale; his sisters, Shirley Hirst (John) of Christiana, Joyce Garver of Gordonville, Denise Bair of Paradise and Becky Summers; his grandchildren, Sarah Peters (Shawn), Natasha Evilhair and Allison Stewart; his great grandchildren, Jake, Madeline, Emilee and Annabel; and his siblings-in-law, Joel Gee Sr. of Denver and Margaret L. Shisler of Ithaca, N. Y.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
