With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan A. Collins of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. and Mary E. Collins (Nunneville); her husband Ellsworth L. Collins; her sons, John Collins and Ellsworth Lee Collins; and her siblings, Helen Shipman, Ester Thomas, Florence King, Charles, William, George and John Swinehart.

She is survived by: her children, Ida Williams (Sam) of Williamsport, Bertha Welch of New Jersey, Shane Collins (Patty) of Loyalsock and Mary Elliftawi (Atiyeh) of Loyalsock; and her sisters, Sarah Howlett of Williamsport, Stella Shaffer of Duboistown and Huldah King of Williamsport. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to Newberry Church of Christ 822 Diamond St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
