We are sad to announce that, on May 20, 2023, at the age of 81, Mary Ellen Kapp (Williamsport, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas VanFossen and Caroline VanFossen (VanCamp); her son John Grunsby; and her siblings, Helen and Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Sisley (Cathy) of Watsontown, Shannon Estrada (Michael) of Pottstown, Rick Grunsby (Paula) of Jersey Shore and Kristin Franklin of Washington Boro; her sister Patricia Rice (Vincent) of Delaware; and her grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Vincent, Dominic, Nick, Emily, Max, Bowie, Cassie, Krista, Sammy and Nate. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Contributions in Mary's memory may be made to any charity to benefit the well being of animals.
