With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary B. Penfield of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on January 9, 2026 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard M. Boschert and Rose Hammer Boschert; her husband John W. Penfield; her siblings, Alice Phelan, Fred and Gus Boschert; and her granddaughter Cecile Weigle.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Nancy), Brian (Susan), Thomas (Amie), John (Lenore) and Kathryn (Gene Weigle); and her friends, Crystal and Kim Penfield. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made in Mary's name to the James V Brown Library, 19 E 4th St., Williamsport PA 17701.
