We bid farewell to Mary A. Sholder of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2026 at the age of 102. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward G. Shurer and Florence M. Shurer (Wenner); her daughter Karen L. Greenawalt; her grandson Kevin C. Greenawalt; her son-in-law Timothy J. Cannon; and her siblings, Edward Shurer, Bernadine Shurer, Delores Oldham, John Shurer and Joseph Shurer.
She is survived by: her husband Det; her children, James R. Sholder (Elaine) of Devon, Stephen C. Sholder (Diane) of Williamsport, Richard J. Sholder (Marysia) of Watsontown, Eileen M. Frey (Robert) of Adamstown, Charlene M. Cannon of Williamsport and Joanne E. Pompeo (Kevin) of Williamsport; her son-in-law Robert Greenawalt; and her grandchildren, Amy Shober (Brad), Kerry Gable (Shawn), Matthew Greenawalt (Janice), Jeffrey Greenawalt (Stefanie), Jaime Boswell (Channing), Laura Sholder, Elizabeth Himmer (Dan), Meghan Mach (Vince), Daniel Sholder, Emily Albert (Garrett), Lyndsay Weaver (Corey), TJ Cannon Jr., Sean Cannon (Caylen), Makenzie Cannon, Kristen Menges (Pat), Brad Pompeo, Brooke Wise (Ben), Nick Pompeo (Skye), Stephen Williams (Marleigh), Krysia Zeigler (Eric), Amaraja Sholder and Natasia Armstrong (Sawyer). She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren with 2 on the way; 11 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins.
