She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Vought and Julia Vought (Mills); her husband Herman H. Hess, Jr.; and her son Charles Hess. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ault (Paul) of Williamsport, Gary Hess (Connie) of Jersey Shore, David Hess (Diane) of Montoursville and John Hess of Williamsport. She is also survived by 13 grandchild; 26 great-grandchild, and 11 great great-grandchildren.
