He was predeceased by: his wife Sally J. Kent; and his siblings, Mildred Potochney, Ann Machonis, George Krynitsky, Stephen Kent, Joseph Krynitsky, Michael Zublick, Charles Kent, John Kent and Peter Krynitsky.
He is survived by: his children, R. Nicole Kent Farr (Thomas Farr) and Nicholas E. Kent; his grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Brooke and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Colton, Jaxxon, Maverick, Walker and Brynlee; and his sister Helen Whyne of Harrisburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Joseph J. Stutz, Inc. Funeral Home (40 S Market St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ss Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church (131 N Beech St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
