Norma Jean Richie Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 28, 2023, at the age of 96, Norma Jean Richie of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in Montgomery, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leamon Nuss and Mabel Nuss (O'Dell); her spouse Elery Richie Sr. Together; her sons-in-law, Victor Smith Jr. and Jack Stabley; and her siblings, Wilden, Carl, Franklin, Harold, Robert, Leamon Jr., Gordon, Sara, Helen and Vivian.
She is survived by: her children, Elery "Rusty" Richie Jr. (Alice) of Hartsville, Thomas Richie (Ruth) of Essex, Gary Richie of Pensacola, Jeanne Smith of Williamsport, Carol Houseknecht (John) of Montoursville and Margaret "Peggy" Stabley of DuBoistown; and her sister Fay Patterson (Rick) of Florida. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
