He was predeceased by: his parents, William Willits, Jr. and Martha Willits (Jeralds); and his siblings, Daniel, Glen Willits and Emily Bauerlien.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debra "Debbie" Costill (Jason), Eugenia Hendrickson (Scott) and Christina Woodring (Mark); his grandchildren, Stevenlee Sylvanio, Felicia DiBernardo (Dominic), Xavier Winter and Evan Costill; his great grandchild Dexter Deem; his siblings, Jim, Lloyd Willits, Lois Bilby and Lee Shaffer (Jan); his brother-in-law Kenny Bauerlien; and his extended family, Donald, Frances, Jim DiBernardo, Mary and Douglas Woodring.
