He was predeceased by: his wife Joan L. Bickel (Reaser); his parents, Charles R. Bickel and Dorothy Bickel (Menne); and his grandsons, Seth and Alex Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Bickel, Jr. (Connie) of Williamsport, Cynthia R. Caulkins (Jeff) of LaBelle, FL and Tina Anderson (Craig) of Williamsport; his grandchildren, Robert III (Kacy), Alyssa (Gabe), Joshua (Jodi), Donald, Janelle (Andy), Heidi, Sara and Krista (Tyler); and his siblings, Nina Fisher of Catawissa and Wayne Menne of Mount Dora, FL.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sanders Mortuary (821 Diamond St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
