He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harvey and Betty Ruth Harvey (Biggs); and his brothers, Joseph E. Harvey, Sr., George R. "Nate" Harvey, William J. Harvey, Elliott D. Harvey and Paul E. Harvey.
He is survived by: his children, Darcel C. Harvey, Jadan R. Harvey of Altoona, Jeret S. Harvey of Kennedy, TX, Tamara D. Collare of Williamsport and Janna L. Blair (Jarell) of Elimsport; and his stepson Jesse D. Vaughn. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
