He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Shellhamer and Evelyn Shellhamer (Shafer); his son Christopher B. Shellhamer; and his sister Elaine M. Joseph. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Bower; his brother Raymond Shellhamer (Barbara); his nieces and nephews, Mara Salinas (John), Margaret Badalpour (Joe), Ronald Shellhamer (Rebecca), Christopher Shellhamer (Kathy) and Benjamin Joseph (Megan); and his fiancé Mickey Mapstone. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 in Ron's name.
