Mitchell of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, born in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Shafer and Kathryn McCabe Shafer; her husband Max E. Mitchell; and her siblings, Betty Horn and John Shafer.
She is survived by: her sons, Max A. Mitchell (Cathy) of Williamsport and A. Michael Mitchell (Kathie) of Milton; and her grandchildren, Nathan A. Mitchell (Theresa) of Murray, UT, Karis Flores (Mario) of Pottstown, PA and Jaret M. Mitchell (Sarah) of Royersford, PA. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
