He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl M. "Cherry" Cochran (Markle); his parents, George Cochran and Jeannette Cochran (Snyder); his daughter-in-law Tonya Cochran; and his brothers, George, Ernie, Ken and John Cochran.

He is survived by: his children, Louis "Rick" Cochran of South Williamsport, Blaine Cochran of Williamsport and Jeannette Cochran of Williamsport. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
