He was predeceased by: his wife Sara J. Andrews; his parents, William Porter and Mabel Porter (Fitzgerald); and his siblings, William, George, Wayne Porter, Inez Stanton and J. Marlene Whaley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen M. Porter of Williamsport, Melissa L. James (Hubert) of Port Orange, FL and Holly L. Porter of Hiram, GA.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maneval Allen Redmond Cremation and Funeral Service (500 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness (733 Cemetery Rd, Williamsport, PA 17701).
