He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice N. Welch; his parents, William Johns and Violet Johns (Miles); his siblings, Clyde Johns, Ethel Owens and Lois Johns; and his sister-in-law Lois Welch.
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Joseph Welch (Peggy) of Williamsport and Truman Welch of Williamsport.
