He is survived by: his children, Brian Shafer (Pam) of Harrisburg and Joclyn Beagle (Jeff) of Williamsport; his grandchildren, Collin (Brooklyn Graham) of Harrisburg, Reilly Shafer of Harrisburg, Aurora (Nathan Reedy) of Jayda, J. J., Emerson Beagle of Williamsport and Christian Mumford of Williamsport; his close friend Jim Solomon; his sister Linda Welch (Chuck) of Dade City, FL.; his niece Lori Murtha (Mark); his nephew Paul Welch (Molly); his mother-in-law Janice Rader; and his siblings-in-law, Robin Edkin (Tracy) and Todd Rader (Laura). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
