With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Smith III of Williamstown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James II and Evelynn Adams Smith; his children, Kimberly, Jeremy and Joseph; and his granddaughter Alyssa Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Verda; his sons, Eric (Alison) and James (Bethany); his grandchildren, Elijah, Madysen and James; and his siblings, Patricia English (Joseph), Evelynn McConnell (Steve) and Donald Smith (Jennifer).
