It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith A. Wert of Williamstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judith A. Wert to pay them a last tribute.
Though Judith may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judith touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Shultz and Jean Shultz of Fisherville; her husband Richard L. Wert; and her sister Joy Schreiber (Doc) of Millersburg. She is survived by: her children, Melvin Lesher III (Melody) of Dalmatia, Michelle Fulkroad (Adrian) of Elizabethville and Stephanie Zapata-Lesher (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL; and her siblings, Eugene Shultz (Gloria) of Halifax and Chris Buffington (Raymond) of Gratz. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Millersburg Assembly of God (2261 Shippen Dam Rd, Millersburg, PA 17061). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
