He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert James and Edith Winifred Mayes (Greenaway). He is survived by: his wife Faith Marie (Grant); and his children, Gregory Mayes (Tonia O'Connor Mayes), Heather Gleason (Joe) and Halle Majchrzak (Kyle). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two brothers.
