She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elko and Anna Elko; her husband Lawrence Knipling; and her siblings, Ruth Hegland, Nicholas Elko, George Elko and Michael Elko.
She is survived by: her siblings, John Elko, Donald Elko and Rose Elko; and her niece LaVonne Shields.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (benefitting Bryce & Elsie's Buddies), in Bernice's memory.
