She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Nelson and Justus Nelson; her husbands, Carl Tamburri and Lewis Owens; her first-borns, Guy Tamburri, Michael Tamburri and Michael Owens; her son-in-law Gene Arace; her nephew Nicholas Arace; and her sister Elaine Savage.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Justus Tamburri (Nancy), John Tamburri (Elisa), Christopher Tamburri, Linda Smickle Owens (Jim), Laura Arace Owens, Kathy Smickle Owens and Donna Huff. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
