With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol A. Hughes of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lutes and Olive Martin (Grube); her husband Ronald E. "Pop" Hughes, Sr.; her siblings, Harry, Tom, Sandra and Linda; and her daughter-in-law Kitti-Jo.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald E. Hughes, Jr., Scott A. Hughes (Jenn) and Yvonne P. Beers (Christopher); her grandchildren, Jared, Jessica, Kelsey, Alyson, Abygayle, Madysen, Emalie and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Kensleigh, Eliana, Theodore, Owen and Charlotte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
