With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carrie Smith of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph L. Smith; her parents, Mamie Rasley, (Lockard) and Melvin A. Rasley, Sr.; her siblings, Melvin A. Rasley, Jr. and Jennie Kasebier; and her stepsiblings, Earl Voorhees, Carl Voorhees, Fay Hoffman and Jane Gower.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Catherine N. Rasley; her nieces, Deborah Eyer (Bill) and Ann Lehman (Ron); her nephew Brian Rasley; and her stepsibling's children, Sharon Lang, Bonnie Wagner (Terry), Becky Batchelor, Carol Fry (Dennis), Dennis Voorhees, Earl Voorhees, Jr. (Sheri), Daryl Voorhees (Kaye), Charles and Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to The Bangor Church of the Nazarene, 150 Bunny Trail, Bangor, PA 18013.
