He was predeceased by: his mother Anna Ruth; and his grandparents, John and Mary Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Ruth (Welty); his children, Richard C. Ruth (Susan), John S. Ruth (Lisa) and Cindy L. Schlamp (Kevin); his grandchildren, Christopher Ruth, Sophia Ruth, Michael Schlamp (Kate), Brittney Konsoulas (Yanni) and Daniel Sterling; and his great grandchildren, Trey Schlamp, Brock Schlamp and Kayson Schlamp.
