He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Flyte and Rosie Flyte (Seiers); his siblings, Donald, Lester, Ernest, Forrest, Betty Nesfeder, Sonia Dotta, Mary Sortino and Dorothy Horon; and his stepdaughter Michelle Davies.

He is survived by : his children, Ryan Flyte (Aggie) of Jonesborough, TN and Christy Flyte of Wind Gap; his stepson Mark Davies; and his sister Gladys LaBar. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
