With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Genevieve A. Borovicka of Windber, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2026 at the age of 104. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Marshall and Elizabeth Marshall (Fuchs); her husband Joseph; and her siblings, Bertha Malek, Ginger Lashinsky and John Marshall.
She is survived by: her son Joseph (Elaine) of Brunswick; her granddaughter Teresa (Kenneth Meier Jr.) of Windber; her sister-in-law Margaret Marshall; her grandchildren, Gloria, Cynthia, Lynne, Craig (Becky), Kenneth J. (Windber), Kristine Murray (Andrew) of Wrea Green and England; and her great grandchildren, Sofia Genevieve and Abigail. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild.
