She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wargo and Genevieve Wargo (Shaffer); her husband Edwin E. Ruane; her brother Louis Wargo; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Ruane, James Ruane, Joseph Morway and Emil Petrilla.
She is survived by: her children, Sean E. Ruane (Christinia) and Colleen J. Ruane (Donald Hoover) of Windber; her grandchildren, Kady, Kyle, Andrew Ruane, Lacey Brummert, Katelyn (Brody Batdorf), Owen Shearman and James Shearman; and her siblings, Dan Wargo (Mary Louise), Rose Morway, Patricia Petrilla and Genevieve Wargo (Karen Capitan). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in honor of Janice.
